Risks

Read this before you mint. Manekora is a game with real money at its edges.

  • Blood and Energy are game balances, not money. Nothing about them is guaranteed.
  • Leverage loses fast. At 1000×, a move of about 0.05% against a position can liquidate it and remove its whole margin.
  • Convert available Blood at 1 Blood = 1 USDC before fees. Conversions use Protected Blood first; amounts above it require available Profit Liquidity. Margin reserved for positions or pending orders stays locked. Protected capital can still be lost through trading. Margin remains locked; emergency pauses can stop conversions. Contract, price-feed and keeper risks remain. Profit cash is first come, first served from shared liquidity. Departure requires all Blood to be convertible now; Blood below 0.000001 can't be paid out and is dropped when the Maneki departs.
  • Energy shares can be zero for long periods, each unit's share shrinks as more Energy is minted, and Energy cools every day, so a loss earns mostly in the weeks after it.
  • Price feeds can fail. A market can be retired at its current valid mark or, if unavailable, the last valid mark recorded onchain. Anyone can then submit a transaction to close its positions at that price, unless emergency exits are paused.
  • Smart contracts can have bugs.
  • Rules differ by place. Leveraged crypto trading is restricted in many countries. Check what applies where you live.
