Mint a Maneki with at least 50 USDC, in 0.01 USDC steps. After the 2% mint fee, each USDC creates 1 Blood.

You can also buy an existing Maneki on the marketplace. The buyer pays the listed price; the seller receives it less the marketplace fee shown when listing (at most 5%). Buying does not create new Blood or protection.

Appearance and identity

Five parts create its look: body, hat, outfit, item and mat. Its class and Perfect % describe how those parts match. The appearance stays fixed after reveal.

Explore the five parts, classes and Perfect %

Five parts

Every Maneki is put together from five parts: a mat to sit on, its body, an outfit, an item to hold and a hat. Each part is drawn on its own, evenly from twelve designs, so there are 248,832 possible looks.

  • Body Honey (Bard)The Maneki itself. Each body is the signature body of one class.
  • Hat BardWorn on its head, from a chef's toque to a pirate's hat.
  • Outfit BardWhat it wears over its body.
  • Item BardHeld in its paw, from a bard's lute to a miner's pickaxe.
  • Mat BardWhat it sits on, from a wizard's cushion to a bard's sheet music.
Step through each part's twelve designs. Parts in the Maneki's class are outlined in blue. Every mix shown here is one a mint can draw.

Twelve classes

Every class has one design of each part, and its body is that class's signature body. A Maneki whose five parts all come from one class is a Perfect Maneki. Pick a class to dress the Maneki above in its parts.

Perfect %

Each part belongs to a class. A Maneki's Perfect % is 20% for every part in its most common class, so five matching parts make 100%. Its class is that class; on a tie, the first part to reach the top count decides, in the order body, hat, outfit, item, mat. The look never changes after the reveal.

How revealing and naming work

The reveal

Its look is drawn by verifiable randomness a few blocks after the mint, usually within seconds. Until then the Maneki shows an unknown look, but it trades, can be transferred and converts like any other. If the randomness is late, after about 30 blocks (some 30 seconds) Manekora reveals it from a recent block hash instead; press Reveal beside the Maneki to ask for that.

Names

Every Maneki starts with a default name. Its owner can rename it, 1 to 20 letters, numbers and spaces, by signing a message; names live off chain and need no transaction.

What stays with your Maneki

Blood (including its protected and unprotected portions), the remaining fee-free conversion amount and Energy travel with the NFT. Transfers require no open positions or pending requests. While listed in the in-house marketplace, escrow prevents the seller from trading or converting its balances.
